Blessings For Jacob

Jacob is a strong willed 18 year old young man who continues to put others first no matter how bad he feels. He is a very humble person with the heart of a Saint and despite the pain he endures daily, he never complains. He was well on his way to experiencing the awesome life that any young man deserves like learning to drive, going out with his friends or even a date with his sweetheart.
     Little did he know in February 2014, instead of continuing in high school as a normal teenager would, his plans were traded for a terrible disease that will eventually take his life. Jacob was diagnosed with Metastatic Ewing Sarcoma, a rare cancer that attacks bone and soft tissue to which there is no cure. Over the past three years, Jacob has endured multiple surgeries and a seemingly endless amount of chemotherapy and radiation. Jacob is now receiving in-home hospice care due to his daily medical requirements and the continuous degradation of his health.
    As you can probably imagine, a disease of this nature does not only affect one person. It has also affected his two siblings and his mother Alisha, a single mom of three who left her job to care for her son and is now financially as well as emotionally affected. This GoFundMe was created in an attempt to help offset the cost of living for a family that has given up everything to take care of the one person who gives freely to everyone without regard for his own need.
