Blessing Mark and Jennifer

Donation protected
Anyone who has had the privilege of knowing Mark and Jennifer know what an encouragment they are to everyone around them. This precious family has been through such a hard struggle and now it is our turn to encourage them.
Mark had his 2nd knee surgery a little over a year ago. While on their way home Jennifer, unborn Enoch, and Mark were in a car accident. Jenny and Enoch were thankfully completely unharmed but Mark suffered a concussion/Traumatic Brain Injury and whiplash. In the days shortly after the accident, he started to have migraines that included nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and extreme noise, light, and smell sensitivity. He has continued to have severe headaches and migraines on a daily and weekly basis as well as neck and back issues.
He started doing various forms of therapy to help his brain and body heal and even got new glasses with special lenses to help in that process. He was making good progress until late October, early November when he started to digress and began to lose ground. The things that were working before stopped working. As January rolled around, he knew that he needed to get different help. As a Youth Pastor, he had worked with enough people to know depression when he experienced it himself so he started to see a counselor who specializes in the way TBI's affect the brain. He was diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and PTSS.
He was advised that ne needed to step down from his position and take time off to rest in a quiet location. They decided to move to Duluth where Jenny and their 6 children could stay with her parents and Mark could live just down the block with Jenny's grandma where it is totally quiet.
You can imagine how hard this is for both of them. Jenny is taking care of 6 children full-time while Mark can do nothing he is used to doing. During this difficult season he is unable to work. Thier home in Jackson has not sold and in the month of August, Angela, their oldest daughter, had a buckle fracture right below her wrist. For their house to sell the realtor has recommended having the electric updated. They have already put a new roof on the garage and painted a large portion of the house. These are all big expenses for them as they are trying to focus on Mark's recovery.
Helping others through difficult seasons is a blessing. We are called to share one another's burdens and what a better way to share then to bless this family in their time of need. Please be in prayer for complete healing for Mark and strength for Jenny and the children as they walk this difficult road in this season. I'm so encouraged that they truly believe what Romans 8:28 says, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose."
Galations 6:2 "Bear one another's burdens and thereby fulfill the law of Christ"
Let's help bear the burden for this beautiful family!
