Blessing Beverly Lyda

We are seeking to bless our dear friend Beverly Lyda as she begins a Journey Of Faith with cancer.  Beverly was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer of the peritoneum (the lining of the abdominal organs).  It is believed that the 'Peritoneal Cancer'  originated in her ovaries.

A bit about Beverly...She is the wife of Danny Lyda, and the mother of three children: a son Stephen (and wife Kristina), a son Chris, and a daughter Jennifer.  Many grandchildren have the great  fortune to follow her example.   Beverly is also a private caregiver to a special-needs woman who calls her Mama. 

Beverly has served countless individuals in her life.  She is an active member at Biltmore Church (Swannanoa/East Campus).  She is an anchoring part of a strong Connect Group on Sunday mornings, and she followed her heart to begin leading a Women's Bible Study in her home on Wednesday evenings.  She not only connects with people, she is a servant to many people as well.  Her favorite verse is Isaiah 41:10 'Fear Not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.'  This choice of verse speaks volumes to the woman that chose it.

Would you please consider a blessing of food, finances, or faith through prayer for Beverly and the Lyda Family?   Your deeds will not go unnoticed. Hebrews 6:10 says 'God is not unjust, he will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them.'

Beverly's medical coverage is minimal at best, and the copays, and the required outward spending, often BEFORE they will treat in most cases, has already caused undue stress and strife for this family.  Beverly's focus should be on Fighting and Healing.    

Beverly is attending chemotherapy infusions already, and the road moving forward is still uncertain, and the increasing fees accumulate almost daily.

First and foremost, prayer is what Beverly is seeking.  She knows the power that lies in the words uttered to the Father on behalf of another loved one.   She has fully, and without reservation, handed this trial over to God.
