On the morning of Monday, September 14th, Brian was in a serious accident on his way to work. While crossing Hwy 7 he was hit by a car traveling east at highway speed. The van rolled approximately 4 times and landed in the ditch on the opposite side of the road. Brian was knocked unconscious and it took 30 minutes to be extracted from the van by the New Germany Fire Department. Brian was taken via ambulance and admitted to HCMC with multiple fractures in his ribs, vertebrae, and pelvis along with trauma to his spleen and lungs. At this point, he sleeps most of the day and any kind of activity is exhausting. Brian has been fitted for a back brace and is not able to stand or sit independently. His treatment plan will include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and a possible stay at a rehabilitation center. There is a lot of unknown, but without a doubt, this is a long road of recovery and massive amounts of medical expenses ahead of Brian and his family.

Brian is a husband, dad, and the main provider in the home. As a very new local business owner and Snap-On dealer that will be out of the driver's seat for quite a while, we'd like to help him, Jennajo, and the kids the best we can. If you have the ability to help the Ernhart family, please do!
