Blaze’s Leg Surgery

Within the last month our 8 year old Husky has torn his ACL. We have no idea exactly how he did it besides playing with his sister Bailey in the backyard.  Our vet has said besides this injury Blaze is still young and in very good shape. If he doesn’t have this surgery his life will be extremely debilitating in the next year and painful. This surgery will cost at least $2,600. Within the next 2 weeks we’ll be expecting a newborn being added to our family. Soon I will be on maternity leave and money will be tight for us. This is not an expense we expected. We love our family dog and would not want to end his life way too many years early.  He so badly wants to run around the yard and go on walks in the field behind our neighborhood and he just can’t. It’s hard to watch him wanting to play with Bailey but in no way being able to keep up with her.  The vet said if we don’t do the surgery soon it could get to the point where surgery would not work if we wait so he needs this surgery soon. If anyone can donate even a few dollars we would greatly appreciate it.
