Keep Blayde Smiling

Donation protected
Meet Blayde, a quirky, funny, loving 7 year old boy. Blayde loves being outside, riding his bike, going paddling on his kayak with his 7 siblings (ranging from 1-21 years old), he loves getting dirty and being your average kid. Blayde also has ASD and Tourette's syndrome but he doesn't let anything hold him back, and always has a smile.
Blayde needs your help! On Saturday, January 4th 2020, after spending the morning kayaking with his family, Blayde visited with his Nan. His Nan then took blayde to visit her daughter, and within 10 minutes of being at the house, Blayde was attacked by a very large bull Arab mastiff, a dog unknown to him. He was standing in the yard when the dog attacked him, it was a completely random attack that no one saw coming.
The dog bit Blayde over the head multiple time, one bite caused a 10cm laceration to his head, exposing his skull, one bite caught his head in a different spot causing a 3cm laceration. This same bite also punctured Blaydes lower eye lid, causing extensive damage to his eye and requiring stitches. The third bite went directly across Blaydes forehead in a different direction to the other bites, and while left him severely marked, didn't puncture the skin, thankfully.
On the night of the 4th of January, Blayde had to have surgery to repair that damages from the dog bite and was released on Sunday the 5th of January.
On Monday the 6th of January things took a turn for the worse, and Blayde was back in hospital with issues from his eye injury, after being sent back and forth between 2 hospitals, Blaydes mum Susan was given some shocking news.
The eye injury turned out to be much much worse than expected, and Blaydes eye is bulging from his eye socket because he has multiple fractures behind his eye, in his cheek and his nose. One of the bone fragments has broken off and is now in his sinus.
Blaydes mum, Susan, is trying to raise funds to help cover the costs for Blaydes ongoing medical care, which is going to be quite extensive.
He is required to go to Townsville hospital, over 5 hours away, on Monday the 13th of January to discuss his injuries with a specialist before he has on of many predicted surgerise to repair the damage to his eye, and hopefully keep from further damaging his eye.
Until this appointment, blayde can't drink though a straw, sneeze, blow his nose, chew dense items or snort (both of which he uses as self stimulation to regulate his emotions). He can't play outside, ride his bike, swim, or use his kayak.
If you can, please sign deep and donate to help this amazing little boy, who still hasn't stopped smiling even though he has endured so much!
