Blankets from Belmar

As many of you know, my best friend Jillian lost the love of her life due to a tragic dog attack last Wednesday. Belmar was loved by many, including my little boy Rigley. Both are pictured laying together during a camping trip in 2013. Belmar loved Jill’s family and friends, puppy walks, treats, toys, his puppy friends, and most of all he loved Jill. We all love Jill dearly and know this is going to be a painful grieving process for her. Last night, Jill talked about wanting to give back in honor of Belmar. We are going to be engaging in a campaign to make and donate pet blankets to local shelters and the veterinary hospital that tried so hard to save Belmar’s life. This holiday season please consider a donation of any amount to help this campaign come to fruition. We will be working over the next couple weeks to make these blankets and distribute them to shelters. Any amount helps, it costs about $5 to make one blanket. We thank you in advance for your contribution to honor Belmar’s life! Donations will be directly used to purchase and make pet blankets. Any amount in excess of $500 will be donated directly to Maricopa County Animal Care and Control.
