Mission Trip to Jinotega, Nicaragua

Dear friends and family,
We have been blessed with an opportunity to lead a team in Jinotega, Nicaragua this summer to work with missionary Sandy Carter-Britnell and the Children of Destiny Center. On our trip we will be part of a community feeding program, door-to-door outreach, children's program outreach as well as helping with maintenance on the ministry property. We have a heart for international missions and feel called to take advantage of this opportunity that God has presented to us. God has blessed us beyond anything we could ever deserve and we want to use our blessings to bless the less fortunate. We believe missions are a big part of trying to live a life imitating the life Jesus lived.
In order for this trip to be possible we will need your support. We will need financial help of course, but just as important is your spiritual support. Please pray for us as we prepare for this trip as well as praying for the people of Nicaragua that they may be open to message of the cross that our group will be delivering. As far as the financial support, we are not asking anyone to donate more than they can and definitely do not want anyone to feel obligated to do so. Only give financial assistance if you feel led to do so. Any amount will be an enormous blessing that will assist in making this trip happen. The trip is June 14-22, 2014 and is through Liberty Church in Pensacola. We need to raise a combined cost of $1,500 by May 18, 2013. This cost will cover travel, food, shelter, as well as some of the goods and supplies we will be handing out to the people of Jinotega, Nicaragua. We will be contributing as much as we can towards the total cost but any extra assistance would be much appreciated!
