Blaise's post transplant experience

I received my bonemarrow transplant April 3rd 2017 and isolated to my room for 65 days..  I was then able to live in a dorm one block away from the hospital, where I still had dr. appointments every day or minimum of 5 days a week, after the initial discharge and staying in the dorm I had to be hospitalized 5 times for various reasons..  I seemed well enough to come home late August 2017 and I would see my amazing oncologist here, then go back to Minneapolis every 3 months for check ups by my bmt specialist.  I thought I would be able to get my life back, but I was wrong.  There has been atleast one day of each week I ask, why is this such a long process.  Doctors say no work for a year, which I understand because of the way my body feels.  And because of that I have no funds left from my savings, and I cant bleed my parents/caregivers accounts dry, because they have so many of my medical bills pay. The the last page my mom sent up is pretty much dry and there is still such a long road with me. Plus my younger sister will have to go to through the same process too..  These funds will help me out with $800 chemo meds  month, travel 2,000 miles round trip, hotel stay for 5 days (5 days for paying for back to back specialist,) food while there, and to pay for a bone marrow biopsy. And that's just 3 months.
