Join us on August 16, 2020 for a historical Mass Live Stream via Instagram with over 25 Livestream events covering Black Culture, Art, Fashion, Food, Film, and most importantly - History! We will be donating our proceeds to three outstanding organizations: The Innocence Project, Black Voters Matter, and Foundation of Freedom. #JOINTHEMISSION by donating to the cause - our Goal is to raise 100K for Black Political and Social Justice. #blackoutfundraiser

The Innocence Project
An organization committed to exonerating individuals that have been wrongly convicted through the use of DNA testing and through active reform to the criminal justice system to prevent further injustices.
Black Voters Matter
An organization striving to build power within the black community by increasing voter registrations and turnout through education, policy advocacy, supporting elections funds, and organizational development & training.
Foundation of Freedom
A global non-profit organization that at its core aims to maintain unity amongst members of the African Diaspora and to economically empower its members. This is accomplished through activism and supporting aligned initiatives, campaigning, and educational initiatives including financial literacy.

African Restaurant Week
African Restaurant Week is an opportunity to help boost the local economy, an opportunity to come together to celebrate the food, people, and culture of the African Diaspora. We also support the various local restaurants, chefs, caterers, cafes, and various small businesses in our community.
Word Vomit Poets
Word Vomit Poets supports the growth of anyone within the community who aims to use their artistic expression to connect with society at large. Often art can be raw, unfiltered, and not always pretty. The goal of Word Vomit Poets is to embrace that expression can take a myriad of forms; and these forms can build a culture that is of healing and support. Our goal with Word Vomit Poets is to continuously build communities through both conscious and intentional efforts.
Center for Afrofuturist Studies
Vision: To live in a world where Black artists thrive
The Center for Afrofuturist Studies is an artist residency program that reimagines the futures of marginalized people by creating dynamic workspaces for artists of color. Dynamic means interactive, supportive, community-engaged, rigorous, and inclusive. The CAS wants to rethink and challenge what an art practice that revolves around Black futurity looks like. We believe that's only possible when arts organizations are committed to fully supporting the work being done by Black artists. To that end, CAS artists receive honoraria, funding for travel, housing, studio space, and logistical and programmatic support. Residencies include opportunities to engage with both adult and youth audiences, as well as opportunities for studio visits and informal meetings with cultural workers. The CAS also collaboratively produces exhibitions, workshops, and other programming as well as maintaining a growing public reading room and archive.
