Black Trans Women in Uganda Support Fund

Hello I am a black trans women in the US organizing this fundraiser for houseless black trans women in Uganda who contacted me in great need! They (pictured above) are a group of unhoused black trans women who require immediate assistance paying for food, hormones, HIV medicine and ultimately permanent housing and shelter in Uganda. They have requested $2200 USD (cited below) but I have added an extra $100 to account for the Go Fund Me fees and the international bank transfer fees from Wonce the fundraiser is complete!

In their own words: "We are trans women looking for money for rent getting our medicine and food. Our budget will be like 2200 usd. We are starving totally we stopped taking our medicine because we don’t have food. We need support"

The money you donate will be directly given to them via international bacnk transfer through World Remit into a bank account they have been able to create in Uganda. All funds will be accounted for by Go Fund Me, then transferred to World Remit (an international monetary transfer service) and then to their personal bank account.
