As some of you know & the rest can only imagine, I'm going to be getting the "big chop", no not that "big chop". The other one. No, I don't mean bangs . . . (#NotTheBayang)
Ok, here are the specs:
-- I'm a gnc black trans man looking to raise money for top surgery which I'll be having in Germany *hopefully sometime in April or May 2021. I'm going to need to be putting down a deposit for surgery in early Febuary so, I'D LOVE TO REACH MY GOAL BY MID-LATE Jan . . . since that would definitely make the mental stress subside & allow for the time needed for funds to transfer into my account & for go-fund-me to weigh out whatever amount their taking (& ample time in case I need to resolve any issues with the fundraiser, in general its always good to be on the safe side with time).
--Second point, so-- as some of you also know, I've started school here in Germany at Städelschule & am going to need to be applying for my student visa so I can continue to stay in the country on Jan 18th (right now I'm on the compulsory 3 month american visa). One of the requirements is that I have around 10,500 euro in the bank in a blocked account that I can't touch until they're done looking at it in order to prove that I'm rich enough to toil in the ivory tower with the big boys. 10,500 euro measures out to about $13,000. A tough lump sum which I had saved for initially but then the pandemic came & the rest was history. Moving countries in a pandemic was already a thing once so, it would suck to have to do it again, I'd really like to forgo all that precarity & just feel safe enough to do this visa business with these Germans (& I'd certainly hate to be forced to leave the country so, suffice to say, this is an URGENT NEED).
So, that's that. Hopefully y'all will help me raise these funds and steal Christmas back from the evil clutches of the ultimate power throuple: Scrooge McDuck (played by Marlene Dietrich or Olivia De Havilland-- whoever's less available), The Grinch (played by Jim Carrey), & Camille Paglia (played by Angela Merkel, Directed by Camille Paglia)
