Last summer we had to move and rented the second floor of a house.
We were unaware of it didn't of a current C of O in place or had numerous other issues
Electrical problems such as multiple outlets not working or sparking and the livingroom, dining room, two bedrooms, bathroom, both halls and the kitchen lighting and outlets are all on one breaker.
Plumbing issues
The basement has flooded with sewage. The city had to be called twice to get it cleaned up.
Most recently everyone in our house was getting sick. Headaches and nauseous and coughing. Baby was coughing and sneezing
We found large amounts of black mold in the basement next to the furnace without a proper filter. The walls were cleaned but the spores are still in the system and vents. We can't use the heat or risk illness.
I'm over 60 and disabled and we have an infant in the house. We need to move ASAP

Our funds were exhausted getting us here and between covid and the mold we have been struggling to get by at all.
We can't stay here.

Update
We have received Eviction Notices
DHS is how part of our rent was to be paid but DHS won't pay anything until the house is safe. Once the house certified safe by the city then DHS would pay both back and future rent.
All other options have been exhausted
Landlord isn't helping
City is already involved
