Eli Champagne's Funeral Cost.

Donation protected
June 22, 2014 Eli Champagne made his enterance into this world. Mom and Dad (Dakota and Brandi Champagne) were over joyed, but shortly after his birth he was wisked away to Bangor's Eastern Maine Medical. Eli was having difficulty breathing, with mom stuck at the hospital dad and Grammy Karen Champagne followed delta to Bangor. After much testing they came to find that Eli has Pierre Robin syndrome (or sequence) is a condition present at birth, in which the infant has a smaller-than-normal lower jaw, a tongue that falls back in the throat, and difficulty breathing. In order to hold Eli for the first time, they had to lay back in a recliner with Eli on his belly to keep his tongue from choking him!  Doctors in Bangor felt he would be best to go to Boston to the specialist there as they had more experience with PR.  So mom and dad have been traveling to Boston (dad has the only income at the moment and is trying to continue with college) On Monday July 14th Eli had his jaw surgery which he did very well.  He's unable to eat on his own so they have placed him on a feeding tube, but once his jaw heals he'll be able to be taught to feed. Because of Dakota's insurance they will be responsible for 20% of all cost.  So Bangor to Boston, than he will need to go back to Bangor after being released from Boston.  The costs will be in the thousands. If you'd like to help them by donating the money will go towards medical and traveling.
Thank you for anything you may be able to donate, nothing is too little.  On behalf of Dakota and Brandi, Thank You.
