Mum’s Funeral ❤️

On the 2nd of August 2018, my mum was flown to Royal Perth Hospital ICU. I visited her that afternoon and sat with her for hours. She wasn’t the same person I remember her as. As she couldn’t put a sentence together and she was hallucinating.
The same night they noticed Mum was no longer waking up or responding to pain tests, and she wasn’t breathing on her own, she was then placed on to a ventilator to help her breathe. 
8 long and exhausting days of continuously going up on the train, and sitting by her bedside while she was in an induced coma. During these 8 days, her organs started to shut down. She was taken off Dialysis as her kidneys were completely gone. She was taken off sedation and she was still unresponsive. Fears that she possibly wouldn’t wake up, or she wouldn’t have the life she did prior to when she came into Hospital.
The dreaded talk come about from the Doctor about a family decision and mums quality of life if she was to wake up. As her NOK, I made the heart wrenching call to stop treatment and turn off the machines. 
08th August, she was put into her own room where the family gathered her bedside, and her other daughter, to say goodbye.
The doctors removed everything at 9:00pm and 14 hours, Mum lasted. 
09th August, I got ready in the morning to see Mum. I arrived at 1:50pm. I walked into her room at 1:53pm, I placed my hand on her chest and told her I loved her. Her heart stopped, and she passed away in front of my eyes. Still as beautiful as ever. 51 Years of age.

Now having to face the costs of a Funeral and trying to live a semi-normal life. I’ve decided to set up a Go Fund Me page for some sort of help.
