Clean Air Salon Care

Over the last two years I've been making steps to create a reality of my dreams; making sacrifices and working late nights and holidays to provide great service to my customers and to build my salon home. In the past 3 weeks those dreams have been within arms reach, so close I could taste it!! With the excitement of planning, promoting and decorating came disappointment. The challenge soon became an enormous hurdle to overcome...Ventilation. The Board of Cosmetology requires proper ventilation in all salons for the safety of operators and client comfort. I am well aware of the hazard of improper ventilation from personal experience at my current salon. Before working in this salon I'd never had any sinus or respiratory problems. In the last year alone in this salon I've had over 8 sinus infections and 2 upper respiratory infections. Each resulting requiring stronger antibiotics for a longer period of time and most recently, the need for steroids and an inhaler. Please help get clean air in the new salon to get the doors opened and to keep your hair care professionals health so we can do what we do best, care for your hair! Thank you, Erryn Costa
