Bird Canstruction - Appeal

Canstruction® is a unique international nonprofit organization which hosts competitions, exhibitions and events showcasing colossal structures made entirely out of full cans of food. After the structures are built the creations are on display to the public as a giant art exhibition. At the end of the viewing, all food is donated to local food banks.
Bird has put together a team (consisting of Bird Construction employees and Teeple Architects employees) to participate in this year’s Canstruction Toronto event.
Our team has designed a “uniquely Toronto” structure to built on May 14th, 2018. This design will be on display for the public, along with all other entries, from May 15th to 18th in the TD Centre.
Like all participating teams, we must raise funds to purchase our own canned goods to build our structure. Upon the completion of the event, all the food used in the competition will be donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank.
In order to help our fundraising efforts, Bird Construction has provided two pairs of tickets to the Toronto Maple Leafs game against the Buffalo Sabres on March 26th. Donors will be entered into the draw based on the amount donated towards the campaign:
$10 – 1 ticket | $20 – 3 tickets | $50 – 10 tickets | $100 – 25 tickets
The early bird draws for the two pairs of Leaf tickets will be held on March 20th at 4pm.
The fundraising will continue for the remainder of March or until our fundraising target is reached. A second draw, for a $500 Oxford Properties gift card will take place on March 30th, 2018.
