BIPOC Circle Discussion YYC - Donation Support

On Wednesday, July 8th, nine artists who identify as Black, Indigenous, or as People of Colour, gathered to speak on the cultural climate that exists in Mohkinstsis (or also known as, Calgary). This two-hour discussion was viewed by people across Canada and shed light on #InTheDressingRoom moments, potential superpowers, common barriers, resilience, and next steps.

Our Panelists included:

It was brought to our attention during the event that viewers would like to contribute monetarily to support these artists for their time and labour. The funds raised will go directly to the independent artists who made this event possible.

The total of the funds will be split 13 equal ways between Panellists & Organizers and will be distributed by Chromatic Theatre. 

This fundraiser will go on until July 27th. 14 days total.

- Chromatic Theatre for their technological and banking support. Provided an upgraded Zoom Account to be able to host the speakers in a call with full features and safety.
