Faleceu ontem 20 de novembro, nossa querida Fatima Vilas Boas após mais de 3 anos de luta contra uma enfermidade que continua a ceifar a vida de milhões todos os anos. Sabíamos que esse momento chegaria porque quando ela foi diagnosticada, já estava espalhado para outros órgãos... mas não esperávamos que ia ser tão cedo. Como na música "...gone too soon" fica uma tristeza e um grande vazio em nossos corações. Quando comecei a fazer a página, recebi duríssimas críticas de pessoas que eu jamais esperaria e devido a isso, abandonei a ideia de pedir ajuda para a vida. Hoje venho pedir ajuda para os serviços funerários. Mas não se sinta com nenhuma obrigação, por favor, faça-o se o seu coração mandar, pedir. Muito obrigado.

December 2012 John was leaving his job and didn't notice the road was covered with black ice. He had his femur broken into 3 parts and couldn't walk for 4 months. Meanwhile his wife Fatima was struggling to keep the family facing a deep stress running a cleaning job business. When he was able to walk with the cane, she noticed a lump in her breast that it was later confirmed to be cancer.

But the family had another bad news after further examinations, her cancer was metastatic. Since the family had expended everything they had with John's broken femur they can not afford to pay for hospital bills that have been pilling up since she started chemotherapy 1 year ago. They had to decide between to keep John's treatment and to manage all efforts they can to save Fatima's life.
