Binny’s lung removal
Donation protected
In February Binny was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer after a doctors visit thinking she had a chest infection. Binny’s family paid for her to see a private professor to understand the severity of the cancer. After numerous scans and hospital visits It was decided that the lung was unable to be removed due to the size and location of the tumour. Binny started chemotherapy in March under the NHS in London as this was the only available option to start treatment. Last week the initial private professor recontacted Binny with news that the the mass on her lung had now shrunk enough to be able to have an operation. However this come at the fee of £50,000 due to the CV-19 pandemic NHS hospitals would not be able to see Binny for 10-12 months. Due to Binnys current circumstances with cancer, stage 4 lung cancer, a small pelvic mass and a small spinal mass time is of the essence.
We as her family and friends have decided to set up this go fund me page to help try to fundraise as much many as we possibly can to help Binny have the operation in July as per the professors request.
This page is run by Sarah Hooper Binnys best friend and family.
