Help Billy Kick Cancer (Again)

Donation protected
He has a rough go of it lately. But he is on the road to recovery. Last month he has was diagnosed with his second bout of cancer. So far so good after 2 surgeries to remove the cancer from his body. He is getting stringer everyday and the color in face is returning along with his smile. With the lack of insurance he has started getting hospital bills piling up. I am reaching out to people to help donate anything they can to help Bill pay for his medical bills. With our health care system so broken and unreachable for so many people we reach out to our communities, family and friends for assistance. We hope that you can help out within your means, any amount will help with Bill's medical bills.

Some words and stories from others:

My brother Bill.53 years on this earth with him.Started me in bicycles in 1976 in our house on Wisconsin Ave.
He taught me a skill that to this day I still love, wheel building. Always getting better and still learning.
He is quite a bit different than me. He is quiet and I am not. He reads, I don`t. He keeps his opinions to himself and I try! to keep quiet.
He is very level headed and has a mild manner about him which I watch and try to follow.
Not sure if he knows that I , even today, still look up to him.
He has always works hard and tries to do a good job.

Love ya brother.

Pratter

Colon cancer, like all cancers, is devastating, and even more so when it runs in the family history.

Sadly,  not all of us have the financial resources to battle the disease and make the miracle of recovery happen.

Bill, with is kind and generous heart, has always reached out and supported people in need by being there for them.  I hope we can now all help him with the overwhelming medical bills he will have.  Your help, no matter what amount, will help him to focus on his recovery and healing without the stress and burden of worrying about his financial obligations.

Every dollar means another friend or family member has his well being in mind!

Thank you,
Mary (Bill's cousin!)

This is my friend Bill. Not only is my friend but also my inspiration into cycling. Bill was the one who brought cycling into our community. I'm referring to just having a shop and selling and repairing bikes. I'm talking about the things that inspire and mesmerize people into seeing different things. He brought bike racing into the area. After seeing my first criterium when I was 10 years old I was hooked. The bikes flew around the park so fast and kept it exiting with the crashes. It was unlike anything I had seen before. The week after that, the only thing I could think about was getting a racing bike. I rode my down to Bill's bike store, Class Cycles in downtown Neenah. I couldn't believe all the bikes in his store. Over the summer I would stop in gawk over my dream bike, a Red Gitane Tour De France. It was over $700.00, to me that was like all the money the president had. I never got that bike but every time I went in Bill's bike store he was always very nice and patient with me even though he new there would be no chance of me ever buying that bike. Bill's gave me the cycling bug which not only gave me my favorite past time but also a career in cycling. I am not the only one in our community that he inspired, there are many others.
