In memory of Bill Watkins
On Tuesday April 25, 2017 our dear friend, proud papa and beloved spouse, Bill Watkins, unexpectedly left this world. While driving home from work he succumbed to a fatal heart attack at a way too early age of 46. He will be sorely missed by the hundreds of people he touched on his short time on earth. Many will remember Bill for his crazy pranks, corny jokes, competitive spirit and endless energy. However, those who truly knew Bill will remember that he always had your back, whenever and wherever you needed it.
Bill’s family originally came from Idaho but settled down in Rosemead “the mead” where he went to high school and met many of his life-long friends. Many will remember Bill with his curly blonde locks that looked like a mullet when he wore a baseball cap. He shaved off his curly blonde hair at age 23 and never looked back.
Bill had many loves in his life... travel, sports, hot springs, mountains, friends, dive bars and many more. However, his greatest love was for his wife Stacey and their daughter Siera. Bill and the love of his life Stacey just celebrated 17 years in their relationship together. Stacey is an Aussie transplant that moved here over 20 years ago and has made a fun and fruitful life with Bill.
Siera his five year old daughter is a chip off the old block, she has his high energy and adventurous personality. Siera was named after the Sierra Nevada mountain range that Bill loved so much. She definitely a daddy’s girl and is going to have a tough time living without her dad’s daily cuddles.
It is our hope that we can join together and raise money to help Siera and Stacey in this tough time.
