Don protégé
Many of us knew Bill Hollweg through his art and his audio drama. In 2007, we founded Brokensea Audio Productions and produced some award winning podcasts. With Mark Kalita, Stevie K. Farnaby, David Sobkowiak and all the Audio Hoooligans, we produced hours and hours of free shows. No money was ever sought or made from all the work Bill did.
He just loved to make audio stories.
Bill was an artist, a father, grandfather and husband. He had the remarkable ability to show unconditional enthusiasm, support and empathy for everyone.
He worked hard, holding down several jobs at once and still making time for comics, audio mixing and family.
Recently Bill had a dream come true when he started his own business as a graphic designer, a skill he had mastered over more than 20 years of work.
Bill's life ended abruptly and tragically. We are all stunned, shocked, and saddened by the loss of a dear friend and colleague.
This memorial campaign is seeking to raise funds towards the costs of Bill's funeral and give a little money to his family.
After all that Bill has given us over the years without ever asking for anything in return, I think we owe him this.
