Bill Weaver's Spinal Cord Recovery

As many of you are aware , on August 22nd, Bill Weaver was air-lifted to R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore after a fall that resulted in an acute spinal cord injury, requiring emergency surgery on his cervical spine in his neck. As of this date, he remains in the ICU in Baltimore and will be transferred as an inpatient at a rehabilitation center in the very near future. While he is currently paralyzed, he is fighting with an iron will during daily PT sessions.  We hold on to the highest hopes that along with your continued prayers and support, and an amazing "pit crew" of doctors and nurses he will in time regain some functions that most of us take for granted. 
  However, This is one "race" that we all must accept to be slow and steady.  The doctors have told the family to be prepared for a very long road ahead, recovery at any level cannot be guaranteed or predicted and it will take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years before they know what Bill's level of recovery will be.   With that being said, the cost of Nicole's travel expenses to be with Bill, upcoming rehab costs (inpatient, in-home and outpatient), extensive medical bills, loss of income, the wait on disability insurance, required equipment for Bill, and required modifications to his home are making this trying time even more difficult.  We want Bill to be able to solely concentrate on getting stronger and to not worry about finances at this time.
