Bill Rau - Cancer Fundraiser

This month my father, Bill Rau, was diagnosed with Kidney Cancer,  a tumor on his ureter tube, and a mass on his prostate. Because of the multiple locations, he will have to undergo treatment in phases.   And to add to this all, the doctors discovered a tear in his sholder on an xray that will need to be fixed sometime in this year after he recovers from his cancer treatment.  This is the beginning of a very scary year for our family and one of my fears is the financial burden that will follow.  I don't want my father or mother to have to worry about paying for medical bills during this difficult time.

My parents are retired and my father is working a part time job to pay for expenses that exceed his pension.  He will be on FMLA during the treatment but it will only offer 70% of his normal wages.  With this said things will not be easy for him and my mother.

He has undergone many tests and continues to undergo testing in preperation for his cancer treatment.  The treatment will likely be in steps involving radiation, chemotherapy and surguries.  The insurance that FCA Chrysler provides does not cover specialists.  This is a 100% out of pocket cost for my father everytime he visits one of these doctors. 

So I am asking for your help.  Our family is asking for your help.  Please donate anything you can at anytime this year.  The fight to beat this cancer has just begun and will likely span throughout the next year.
