Bill Rampelli "Ram"
As many folks are aware, our good friend, Ram, is fighting a battle against all odds. He was diagnosed with NeuroEndocrine Carcinoma in May 2015. Ram was the guy who was always there to help anyone one of us. A true testament of his character was the many years volunteering for the Windsor Locks Lions Ambulance. He spent countless hours, holidays and weekends tending to patients and their families in the community. He was always making sure that everyone was doing the best they could during those difficult times, as well as all the partners he had throughout the years, ensuring they were ok after those difficult calls.
After Ram retired as an EMT, he continued to spend countless hours with the Windsor Locks Lions Ambulance personnel ensuring the ambulance and supplies were ready for any situation that arose in the community.
Ram not only served his community through the volunteer ambulance, he spent many years working for Windsor Locks Public Works Dept maintaining the town parks.
At this time, Ram and his family need our help. Please consider donating to help with his medical expenses.
