Bill Gould Cancer Fight

Bill Gould (a veteran serving 21 years Air Force) was recently diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic head/neck cancer.  After a multitude of test, biopsies, trips to Togus, Dover, Brewer, MRH and Mass General, he has agreed to proceed with surgery to remove the lymph glands in his neck, as well as, an exploratory procedure removing his tonsils in an effort to locate the primary cancer.  A 7 week treatment of radiation and 9 week chemo therapy will follow.  (Chemo is 1 treatment every  3 weeks in conjunction with radiation treatment) Bill is currently on unpaid leave of absence from work and has a wife, Jennifer, 3 year old daughter Julia and 1  stepson, Josh. 
Uncovered medical bills have mounted up, as well as, travel expenses and basic living expenses.  Winter is coming and fuel expenses will certainly be an issue. 
As his surgery date quickly approaches the need is urgent to provide funds for travel other expenses during his stay and recovery.
