Bike helmets for Tavin Leonard

On Saturday October 24th, we were out skateboarding like we do every day.  This time we decided to hold on to my friends aunts Jeep and she pulled us a few blocks.  We were going slower than we usually go on our own so it felt safe.  Drayden and  Seth were hanging on to the back of the Jeep and Tavin was hanging on to the rear passenger door.  One minute we were laughing and having fun and the next minute my friend Tavins s wheel made contact with the Jeeps wheel and threw Tavin off his board.   He got hurt really bad.  It was the scariest thing we’ve ever seen.   He tore his carotid artery,  has three brain bleeds and multiple facial fractures.  They had to lifeflight him to Las Vegas.  He’s got a long road ahead.   He’s so lucky to be alive.  We weren’t wearing helmets!!!  We never do.  We never thought they were that important. We never thought you could get that hurt.  We want to raise money and buy as many helmets as we can and give them out to kids in our neighborhood and schools who don’t have one!   We want to spread the word that, wearing a  helmet could save this from happening to you.   Tavin we love you bro!
