Friends Friends Friends!!! I’m calling on your help. I am your friend, Robert Haley. In July 2018, I was diagnosed with a rare type of Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. I have started treatment this May which is ongoing for 6 months.
Here is where you come in. My cover band Big Furry Tractor, who I battle it out with in the trenches of Wrawk any given weekend, is hosting a benefit fundraiser for Princess Margaret Hospital and also for a family friend who is struggling with Hodgkins Lymphoma on Thursday, July 4th at The Hideout in Toronto!
I have created a Go Fund Me campaign to raise and split funds for my friend Michelle Higgins. She has been battling cancer for several years. Michelle has just recently undergone a Stem Cell transplant at Princess Margaret. This has been a huge stress on Michelle and her family as well as a financial strain. I would love to see some of this burden lifted from this family. The other 50% of funds raised will be presented to Princess Margaret Hospital in the hopes to help other fighters.
Aside from the Go Fund Me route, we will also be collecting cash donations at the venue on the evening of Thursday July 4th.
