Bible School Adventure

Hi everyone,
My name is Dave Betts and I have briefly returned to England from Singapore, having studied at a Bible school known as the 'School of Supernatural Ministry'. I know that people use the term 'life-changing' flippantly, but my time in Singapore was genuinely the most life-changing experience I've ever had aside from giving my life to Jesus in 2008. I feel much more confident in my calling, my future and the gifts that God has given me. It was an experience I wouldnt' change for the world.
In a few weeks, I will be flying to Canada to attend Millar College of the Bible for a year. God has opened some scary but sensational doors for me in the last six months and turned what could have been an awful situation into one that is really defining my future in quite a staggering way. Through GoFundMe, you helped me to raise $4000 to enable me to walk through those doors, and I can't begin to express my gratitude for that. I am so, so grateful to every single person that chose to give.
During my time in Singapore, I made a conscious choice not to post on this page. Since then, events have transpired that heave meant that ideally, I need more money than originally anticipated. So, here's the deal.
I'm NOT asking for money.
I wholly and fully trust in the Lord to provide me with the finances I need to continue the journey that He has started me on. There is a dim light beginning to glow in the misty post-April period and the reality is that I will need to pay for the following:
- Final Open University modules to COMPLETE my degree in Leadership and Management [PRAISE THE LORD] (£1500)
- Flights (£3000)
- Books / Accomodation (£1000)
These are slightly rounded figures but still very close to the mark. As always, I figure total transparency is the way to go!
So, to reiterate, what I am NOT doing is asking for money. I am trusting in God to provide a way where currently there is no way. Therefore, there are two purposes to this page:
1) To tell you my plans and needs for the next season.
2) To provide you with an avenue to give if you choose or feel led to.
Of course, I would be immensely grateful if you chose to give. If anyone is open to the idea of an interest-free loan I would love to talk to you also - I would OF COURSE pay it back as soon as possible when I get back to working (which if all goes to plan will be August/September 2015 at the latest). It might take me a while to pay it back, but I am and will always be a man of my word! However, I will not regularly post updates through this page. Neither will I ask for money outside of this page. God is my provider and I am supremely confident in His ability to do greater things than I could ask for, hope for or imagine.
I know that God has plans for me and I can't wait to see them unfold. I'd be really grateful if you could pray for me and the crazy season ahead! I'm looking forward to finding where 'home' will be!!
