It started with a small mole on Chuck's back. Now, seven months later, Chuck is facing Stage 4 aggressive metastatic melanoma that has spread to his lymphnodes. Fortunately, it hasn't yet spread to his organs.
There is hope.
And Chuck, his wife Tracey and two beautiful daughters Kayleigh and Payton are clinging to every bit of it! However, this wonderful family needs your help (and they would never ask for it themselves).
Chuck, who spent the last decade of his career as a catastorphic claims specialist, has helped thousands out of trouble. With his employer's checkbook in hand, Chuck was one of the first on the scene to write checks to those who lost their homes. He was on the ground at hurricane Katrina, Francis, Jeanne, Ike and Ivan. He's been there after floods and windstorms. He knows what it's like to sit with someone who is facing seemingly impossible odds. And he knows that comfort comes from both a comforting arm and cash in hand.
But now, he doesn't have a check to write. While they wouldn't want us to share all of the challenging details, Tracey's salary as a school teacher just won't be enough to pay for all the medical bills, let alone the other expenses.
Whether it's $5.00 or $50.00, every little bit will help this great family. Since moving to Ohio from Louisana three years ago, they've shared their Cajun love with their new Midwestern neighbors.
