BHS Robotics to Nationals in IOWA
Donation protected
This group of students is a dedicated group of GATE students interested in Technology, Engineering and Robotics. They have worked on the VEX robotics competition project since May of 2017. At first, they came three mornings a week during their summer vacation and once the school year started, they came every Friday and stayed late at school; they also spent most of their Saturdays working on the robot.
Recently, they have stayed after school every day in order to revise their design and rebuild their machine, thus receiving the EXCELLENCE Award in their league and qualifying for State and for Nationals. This group of deserving students want to go further and attend the Nationals competition held in April in Iowa...and see if they are good enough to qualify for the last tournament of the season: the VEX WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!
