                             Mike Neves Memorial Fund

This was one of Mike's favorite getaways. Michael found God and peace for a time in the mountain. He knew when he crossed over God is good, loving, doesn’t judge and he need not fear. A fund is set up in Michael’s memory for those new in recovery, who don’t have the funds to attend.  We, Mike's Mom & Dad are starting this fund so that no other person, no other family, no other friends, will face the heartbreak of loosing someone to addiction.
Michael’s advisor Mike Lloyd will be assisting his family with this fund.

Every April and October a group of men in recovery head to a spiritual retreat at YMCA Camp Greenville. The idea is to leave worldly things behind and get closer to our creator. We have sunrise meditation in the open air chapel, meetings, waterfall hikes, and fellowship. Twice a year in Ocala we gather as many guys, either new to recovery or not, and head up to this mountain to help those struggling with their addictions have spiritual experiences.
 
Camp Greenville is located in the heart of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Upper Greenville County, South Carolina. Its 1,400 acres of mountain wilderness are bordered by 12,000 acres of State Park woodlands.  campgreenville.org        Symmes Chapel: Pretty Place                                  A special savings account has been set up to be used exclusively for the purpose of sponsoring a member of Mike's recovery family to attend this retreat.
