To all my wonderful family, friends at Servpro Corporate, Strong Tower Ministries, B.C.Goodpasture High School and beyond, all of your thoughts, prayers, cards, and words from your hearts mean to much to me as I battle Stage II-B Breast Cancer.  The cancer is the HER2 receptor which is the most aggressive of all breast cancers. The cancer was removed 5-2-14.  Cancer was found in one lymp node as well, yet all 14 lymp nodes were removed & the cancer is gone.  The Oncologists stated some of the cancer "seeds" could possible still be in my body, therefore I still have to endure 4 rounds every three weeks of harsh chemo.  (one of which is called the "red devil").  The side effects are severe mouth sores, hair loss, constant nausea, weakness, low white blood cell count with increased risk of infection.  I then have to complete another four rounds every three weeks of a different chemo which should be completed on 11-6-14. The side effects for that go round are not as harsh as the "red devil", yet are very similar. After that, radiation should start which is 15 minutes 5 days a week for six weeks.  During that radiation, I will be receiving a drug thru a port in my chest called Herceptin & Perjeta.  Both of which cause severe nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hair loss & the most concern is weakining of the heart muscles.  All of this is to be completed by 5-2-15.   My medical bills are mounting up as well as the need of money to take care of my day to day expenses.    My husband, who is my caregiver, is a retired Purple Heart & Bronze Star Vietnam Veteran.  He is my hero in this situation. Without his help, life would be too difficult to endure. I would appreciate any donations towards my cause.  That will enable me not to worry about paying bills that are mounting up & I will be able to focuse on getting better one day at a time.
