Eye Treatments for Nicholas Kettel
Donation protected
Nicholas was diagnosed with Usher Syndrome at the age of 5. This is a condition that affects both hearing and vision. The vision condition is a progressive disease called Retinitis Pigmentosa ( RP) . RP causes night blindness and loss of peripheral vision ( tunnel vision) and can eventually lead to total blindness.
In the last few years Nicholas has felt a significant decline in his vision. This affects Nicholas' quality of life on a daily basis.
Nicholas hopes to travel within the next couple of months to the Wellspring Clinic in Vancouver for intensive eye treatments to manage and improve his eyesight.
