Prayers for Scott

We are raising money for medical bills that continue to grow. All this started in June when Scott had an abcess in his jaw/tooth.  He never had teeth pain therefore he didn't know about the abcess until it was too late. He went to the hospital and had surgery to drain the abcess. After the surgery Scott had a stroke. He was finally home after weeks in the hospital and doing pretty good.  He had regained 95% of his motor function back in his right side which was affected by the stroke. Early this week his wife found him in the floor , he had fallen  and was in the floor a couple hours before she got home and found him. When they got to the hospital his sugar was crazy high (1325) even though he has never been diagnosed with diabetes.  Scott was also diagnosed with pneumonia and sepsis. He was transferred to Forsyth Medical Center ICU where he stopped breathing.  He was placed on life support . He also had another stroke causing right side paralysis.  Today he was taken off the ventilator and was breathing on his own but not very well. The respiratory team felt he may have a blood clot in his lung therefore he was taken to CT. We do not have those results yet.  The pneumonia is not clearing up although it has not worsened.  He has a long road ahead with possibly more surgery and many obstacles to overcome just to survive this ordeal.  When the sepsis and pneumonia clear he will be in rehab for the stroke.  The medical bills continue to build every day . His wife is trying to work when she can but right now her constant presence is needed at the hospital.  Any help getting this amazing family thru this difficult time is very much appreciated.
