Bewdley Town Football Club

As many will have seen recently on the news across Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Shropshire towns have been drastically damaged by flooding. Bewdley is no different. The town side of the river has been protected with flood defences. However, Beales Corner had to be evacuated due to the river over toppling the flood defences.
Bewdley Town Football Club, was formed in 1978. The club who have a first team and multiple youth teams have always been at the heart of the community. Serving players from the age of 5 through to adults.
As we start to assess the widespread damage left at the football club after the recent awful weather, storms and flooding. The damage and clean up operation is likely to prove costly not just from a the pitches side. But especially with our buildings. Both of our pitches and our club house currently sit under the river severn. The club house is a key feature of the football club with all pre and post match food and drink being held in this facility. A place where our youth teams share food with opposition players and where our first team share a beer with the opposition.
This page has been set up by Bewdley Town Under 12s. We want to help and support the football club over the coming days, weeks and months to help get the club get our facilities back to the glorious position it was in before all of the terrible weather.
