Bev's Medical Fund

Here is a quick snap shot of what has brought my Mom (Beverly) to the point she finds herself at today. Since I was 7 years old, my mom has suffered a traumatic brain injury, two failed back surgeries, and a pinched nerve.  A month has not passed since then where she has not had constant seizures and severe pain. She also still suffers from chronic lyme disease and has battled cancer. This is the second time within this year that she has been hospitalized for similiar reasons. Since this hospital visit started, last Friday, they have discovered a swollen apendix, which will be removed Monday, a swollen small intestine, pancreatitis, and abnormal blood results.  This next week they will continue blood work, complete a body scan, and conduct a pathology report, which will hopefully provide us more answers. Currently she is battling nausea and chronic pain while we wait for those answers. Since 2000, my mom has not been able to work because of these disabilities and seizures, which makes it difficult to pay for these regular hospital visits. Many of you have asked how you can help in this time of need. This appears to be our best option at the time as she is struggling month to month to keep up with increasing medical payments to hospitals and monthly doctor visits. For anyone who may not know, there have been numerous nights my mom did not know how she was going to make it through all the pain, but her hope in the Lord was never lost. She has remained true to her faith no matter what battle she encountered. She is both strong in the phyiscal and spiritual battles. We truly can't thank you enough for all of the prayers and words of encouragement that you have given us. She is so thankful and feels so loved in this time. Thank you again for your support!
