Dear Family, Friends, Co-workers and Soccer Mates,
On May 23rd 2019 our dear friend Bevan Footman was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma, which is the most common and aggressive type of primary brain cancer. As you can imagine Bevan’s family and friends are in shock from this devastating news and seeking the best medical treatment for him as he begins this fight against this disease.
If you know Bevan, he is young, very strong and absolutely dedicated to fighting this disease with all he’s got and if anyone has a chance of an amazing survival story it will be him. Bevan’s wife Robyn, two boys Rhys (4) and Rowan (2) and his extended family are equally as strong and are joining him in this journey and providing the extensive support he needs to get through this battle.
That said, we want to support Bevan and his young family by providing the additional financial resources they need to ensure he has the best possible chance to beat this thing while he is away from work for an extended period of time. While he is on long term disability some medical expenses and treatment plans are not covered by insurance and money will get tighter and tighter. Let’s take that off the table period. Let’s ensure Bevan and his family can focus on keeping him healthy and positive as they take this incredibly tough journey on.
Bevan is one of the all-time greatest ‘good guys’ we know. He is a truly amazing and loyal husband, father, friend and colleague. He is the type of person that would give you everything he has if he could help you and would always be in your corner when times get tough.
