Hey guys :)
In November of this month, I will be traveling to the Western side of Kenya, Africa as part of a medical relief team. We will be operating a 6 day pop-up clinic to treat over 3,000 individuals who have never before had access to modern healthcare.
Our team will be operating a full medical clinic consisting of a triage, adult physician station, pediatric clinic, pharmacy, and rehab clinic-- which I will (of course!) be a part of. Beyond medical relief, we will be educating the locals on ways to improve their quality of life, including partnering with a local hospital, so that our impact lasts long after we are gone! In addition to medical care, we will be providing a sport camp for the local kids.
I strongly believe in using the blessings and skills I have been given to help others and this trip is an opportunity to do just that.
