Beth suffers from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Hypermobilty Type (HEDS). This disease causes the premature degeneration of cartilage, ligaments and tendons in all joints in the body; causing severe inflammation and swelling, particularly in her neck.

Her disease has aggravated a condition known as Cervical Spinal Stenosis, a dangerous condition which causes temporary paralysis in her hands and feet; leaving her unable to even hold a paint brush or a pen.

Meanwhile, Beth's condition has also spread to her jaw, neck, and shoulders, making chewing difficult. Moving at all is downright excruciating for her at times. Her joints separate at random and without warning.

Her disease has progressed rapidly this past year, as she has been limited to about 100 or so steps walking per day. Her pain ratings have been running from 5 on up all day for some time now.

Now that the costs for the procedure and related expenses is down to just $12,500, we need you to help get us the rest of the way as soon as possible, since her treatment cannot start until the the first $5,000 of the money is raised.
