Bertha was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 5 years ago and has been a warrior. Over the last several months her cancer stopped responding to all the chemo. Her cancer has spread to her intestines- she can no longer eat and everything she drinks is drained from a tube in her stomach. Bertha is now under hospice care in her home. We are making her as comfortable as possible, but need to prepare for the reality that awaits.
Her husband, son, family and friends are doing their best to make her final days as peaceful as possible.
