Benny's medical treatment and cremation funds

Hi, my name is Alisha Wyper and I'm organising this fund-raiser on behalf of my cousins Kerri Ebert, Tracey Pocock and their families to help cover the costs of the family travelling from Hervey Bay and Ipswich to Brisbane while Benny undergoes chemo and treatment in Brisbane hospital. Benny is 24 year's old and was diagnosed with testicular cancer in March 2023 and under went surgery to remove the testicle. He started chemo soon after in April but his vein collapsed, was very unwell from the chemo and ended up with blood clots. On the 19th April he started chemo again and was told if the chemo didn't work he'd have 2 year's to live.

On the 4th July Benny found out the cancer had spread to his brain, liver and kidneys. If the chemo made him sick this time around and didn't work, they'd give him 2 months to 2 years to live.

On the 9th of July Benny found out the chemo wasn't working and had now spread to his spleen and was to be given a blood transfer and transferred to ICU.

Today, 11th July the family have been told Benny has a lump in his brain which is causing him to lose alot of blood and has cancer in his finger plus has an infection and is deteriorating fast.

All family have been called to be by Benny's side.
