Bend Nurses Making Masks
Donation protected
Nurses at St Charles in Bend, Oregon are raising money for materials to make a homemade version of an N95 surgical mask. Nurses themselves and community members are doing the sewing to get started. Plans are in the works to partner with local businesses with industrial sewing capabilities in order to get masks on the faces of nurses. There is a severe shortage of personal protective equipment including masks for the caregivers on the frontline of fighting the COVID-19 virus in Central Oregon. Thank you for any amount.
