The world lost an amazing man on September 28th way too soon at 39 due to cardiac arrest. Ben was declared brain dead at 2:05pm that afternoon and, being Ben, he is a donor and will go on giving even as he leaves us.
He was the love of Stephanie's life, a wonderful son, a friend to all, and had the biggest heart. There will be a celebration of Ben's life soon & we will post information when details are available. We love you Ben, forever & ever.

At the request of the GoFundMe people I am adding this information. I'm Mary Hirsch from Minneapolis. Stephanie's mom and I have been friends for over 30 years and I've known Stephanie for that same amount of time (although she used to call me Wormy Mary). The funds will be given to Stephanie to use at her discretion. She now is a one income household and I know the home needs some improvements that Ben was going to work on. In addition there are medical bills and funeral expenses. I will have the funds deposited into my account and will issue a certified check to Stephanie since that is the best option for her.
