Ben Smith Family

Ben was a lineman for Duke Energy in Charlotte, NC. On Wednesday, June 24, 2020, Ben responded to his last order and now resides in Heaven with our Lord and Savior. 

Ben leaves behind his wife, Cynthia and their young son, Jackson. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and his brothers at Little Rock (Duke Energy) as well as his brothers at Pike.

All monies raised will be sent directly to Cynthia for expenses related to the funeral, living expenses, etc. 

Please direct any questions to Pam Medlin who will correspond with the family. I'm a linewife of one of Ben's coworkers at Little Rock (Jason Medlin). I have been in contact with Ben's sister as well as his wife, Cynthia. I will update this page whenever necessary with information from the family. 

Funds will be used however Cynthia sees fit. As anyone who has lost a loved one knows, finances are tough in the weeks and months ongoing. Ben and Cynthia have a young son who will need to be taken care of as well, so I know this fundraiser will help ease the worry. Cynthia Smith will be the beneficiary of all the fundraising proceeds and she will set up her own deposit information once she has a moment to do so.
