Ben Skeen

Ben was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma April 2018.  He was treated with chemotherapy (ABVD) and finished in September 2018. He had a normal PET scan at 6 months, April 2019. At his year check up in September, his cancer had relapsed.  We were heartbroken. The whirlwind of  lymph node biopsy, diagnosis, port placement and treatment began again.  This time the chemo was Brentuximab and Bendeka.  First treatment went okay. Second treatment, Ben had a reaction to the Brentuximab and went into anaphylactic  shock. He spent the night in ICU. After consulting with University of Nebraska Medical Buffet Cancer Center, Ben is going to undergo an Autologous Stem Cell Transplant.
Ben's parents, John and Linda Skeen will be staying with him  in Omaha during this time.
