BUILDING A BELOVED COMMUNITY

Our world is hurting.
All of us have suffered the wounds of injustice, violence, and trauma; and we are in desperate need for ways to heal from those wounds.

However, instead of just pointing out the problem, I want to help lead the way towards healing.

For me, true healing comes in the form of music.
Music has saved my life, and my purpose is to bring this healing to others.

I sing to inspire listeners to talk to strangers, and to welcome others to a sacred place of acceptance and harmony. All are invited, and all can share in the magic that is universal love.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. called this the Beloved Community.

THE ALBUM
I have spent the last several years writing a new kind of revival music that will be shared on my debut album, ‘Save Yourself.’

This is my journey towards learning how to love myself and learning how to love others in a society that makes it easier to numb pain rather than to heal from it.

THE STUDIO
The goal is to produce an album that not only inspires the individual listener, but can also have a global impact.

My collaborator, engineer Jon Gilbert and I have decided the only way to achieve our sonic and creative goals is to build our own studio.

So far the project has been funded completely out of pocket and with a little help from our friends and family.We have come very far, but unfortunately are unable to complete this project and are asking for your help.

Our goal is to create astudio not only to finish ‘Save Yourself’, at a professional, quality level, but also to provide a completely self-sufficient space for us to practice, mix, record, and create.

It is my dream to build a world-wide community through this music; and I am extremely grateful to anyone who is able to contribute towards making this dream come true.
