Zaps Art Fund

My name is Taj Williams, I’m an artist, a father raising twins, and I live in Bellingham, WA.
Over the summer I have been painting on a couple projects. My contribution to my beautiful community of Bellingham. One project was during a rally/event on July 4th at Bellingham’s new waterfront park, Waypoint park. Working with others, I organized an area for anyone to use some space to express themselves artistically, and heartfelt during this trying summer. At that event, I was happy to share my paint with several people. I’ve been asked to paint a large mural on the same wall, but am only getting reimbursed for a small section and I love sharing my skills and love for my community. Paint, though, is not cheap, and I need your help to complete it.

Another project I am working on in downtown Bellingham is one I’m calling “The BLM wall”, a mural dedicated to the victims of police brutality and black culture and history that I’m working on with another artist. I’m not 100% sure this is enough to cover everything I have planned to do (renting a boom lift so I can paint the top of the wall) but it’s a great start and I would really appreciate my community’s support in these projects. I have many ideas to bring positive, colorful murals and painting to my community. I hope you’re able to help.
