Belle’s Battle For Breath
Donation protected
My 14 year old beautiful niece Belle who is full of character, that would make you laugh with in two minutes of entering a room, has battled with cystic fibrosis since the day she was born. Her whole life she has been in and out of the hospital, she has been dealt with many challenges in her life, which has now come to the cystic fibrosis end of life stage that has resulted in her being admitted into the ICU, sedated and intubated as well as hooked on an ECMO (lung) machine which now supports her breathing, while she waits for a perfect match of double lungs, along side of her 24/7 is her mother Jo-Ann (my sister), her sister Grace, her brother Ryan and many of her extended family as they gather in support. Her father Brian must go back to work to financially help support the situation. The family is immensely financially strained due to her mother not being able to work and they must cover medical, parking, food, fuel and as well as moving expenses as they must move to a place that is closer to the hospital and provides wheel chair access for Belle. Belle is continuing to fight, and staying strong while she waits for her lungs, we are coming together as a family to support Jo-Ann and Brian in the only way we know other than being there emotionally for them. So we ask if we can all come together and contribute in any amount possible to relieve some of the stress off Jo and Brian as they are needed at Belle’s bedside. If you cannot contribute we would be grateful for any prayers from anyone through this difficult time, THANK YOU!!
